Position: Mobile Game Developer (Solar2D Corona SDK)

Type: Contract

Compensation: $50 - $120/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 - 40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and build cross-platform mobile games using Solar2D with Lua scripting.
• Implement core gameplay mechanics and game systems from concept to deployment.
• Optimize game performance for seamless experiences across a wide variety of mobile devices.
• Integrate monetization features such as in-app purchases and ad networks to ensure games are market-ready.
• Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers to iterate and refine gameplay.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in game development.

Requirements

• Have proven experience developing mobile games with Solar2D (Corona SDK) and Lua scripting language.
• Possess a strong understanding of cross-platform game deployment for both iOS and Android.
• Demonstrate the ability to prototype quickly and efficiently in fast-paced environments.
• Have solid knowledge of optimizing mobile game performance and managing device compatibility.
• Have experience integrating monetization solutions such as ads and in-app purchases.
