About the Role

We’re seeking a Network and Telephony Administrator (Freelance) to join our client’s elite network and telephony team in Brussels. This is a high-impact, builder-driven mission: you’ll be at the heart of ensuring robust, secure, and future-ready network and telephony infrastructure for a leading organization. Your expertise will directly shape the reliability and evolution of critical digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Replace, add, and maintain network components including switches, routers, proxies, WiFi appliances, and firewalls.
• Implement and manage network security equipment (Firewall, Web Application Firewall, Email Secure Gateway, etc.).
• Establish and configure network links between multiple sites.
• Deploy and configure network equipment based on architectural plans.
• Manage and enhance network monitoring tools for capacity and traffic analysis.
• Provide Level 2 and 3 support to ICT teams for incident management.
• Proactively propose improvements to network architecture and security posture.
• Oversee daily management of IP telephony systems.
• Participate in new contact center deployments to elevate service operations.
• Contribute to small-scale network cabling projects as needed.
• Drive automation initiatives using scripting and infrastructure provisioning tools.

Technical Skills

• Ethernet, TCP/IP networking
• WiFi: Cisco 5500 and C9800 controllers
• Cisco Nexus 9000 series routers
• Cisco C9200 switches
• Fortigate firewalls (70F and 600E)
• Multi-domain virtualization architecture
• Security rules in Microsoft Windows environments
• DNS, VLAN, Proxy, VPN SSL
• Cisco UCCM and UCCX, WLC, NAC, HSRP, LACP
• Network cabling (small projects)
• Automation principles, scripting, and infrastructure provisioning tools
• Knowledge of IP telephony and Cisco contact center is a strong plus

• Ability to propose and implement reliability and resilience enhancements
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
• Willingness to learn and grow in telephony and contact center technologies if not already mastered

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in French is required (spoken and written)

Other Requirements

• Partial remote work possible
• Freelance contract: Initial mission from 18/05/2026 to 31/08/2026, with potential quarterly renewals
• Location: Brussels, Belgium
