We are looking for a passionate Data Scientist to join our growing team!

About The Role

As an Data Scientist, you will be a key player in designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI and Machine Learning solutions that directly impact our business. You will work on strategic projects within our AI Development team, from prototyping new ideas to engineering scalable systems in our cloud environment.

This is a hands-on role where you will not only develop models but also ensure they are robust, scalable, and integrated seamlessly into our operations. You'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. We believe in getting things done, and you will have the autonomy and responsibility to see your projects through from concept to completion.

You'll be part of a capable and collaborative team, where we learn from each other every day. We value open communication and a passion for continuous learning.

What We Expect From You

Technical Foundation

• A Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics).
  
  

Core Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade machine learning models.
  
  

AI & ML Expertise

• Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML development and solid SQL skills for data manipulation.
  
  

Generative AI

• Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI. Practical knowledge of techniques like fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and building with AI agents is a significant plus.
  
  

Cloud & MLOps

• Hands-on experience with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You should have an interest and understanding of data engineering and MLOps principles to build scalable solutions.
  
  

Mindset & Collaboration

• A self-driven, proactive, and agile mindset with a desire to take ownership of your work. You have excellent communication skills in English (Finnish is a bonus) and enjoy collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
