Golang Backend Engineer at BairesDev

As a Golang Backend Engineer, you will design and build scalable, high-performance backend services that form the core of our cloud-native applications. You will translate complex business requirements into stable, efficient code while ensuring seamless integration between server-side logic and diverse data sources.

What You'll Do:

- Lead the development of robust and concurrent backend systems using Go (Golang).

- Design and maintain scalable REST APIs with OpenAPI specifications for clear documentation and integration.

- Optimize database interactions and data flows using PostgreSQL to ensure high performance and reliability.

- Architect and deploy services within AWS environments, focusing on performance and resource efficiency.

- Apply Go's unique concurrency primitives, such as goroutines and channels, to handle massive traffic and workloads.

What we are looking for:

- 4+ years of experience in Backend Engineering with a focus on Go (Golang).

- Proven expertise in designing and building scalable, performance-critical backend services and REST APIs.

- Proficiency in database design and optimization using PostgreSQL.

- Strong background in building production-grade systems with an API-first design approach.

- Experience with Zanzibar (ReBAC).

- Advanced proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

- Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture and hands-on experience with AWS.

- Implement production-grade engineering standards, including code reviews, testing, and API-first design principles.
