emagine is looking for a Senior Scrum master for our client in Stockholm.

Location: Södertälje (2–3 days remote per week)

Scope: 100%

Language: English

Assignment Period: 18 May – 31 December

Assignment Overview

The purpose of this assignment is to support high-performing, self-organising teams and enable predictable delivery of business value within a complex Sales & Marketing environment. The role requires strong facilitation, servant leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset to strengthen agile ways of working and delivery effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Ways of Working

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies with a clear focus on sprint goals, outcomes, and effective decision-making.
  • Maintain transparency through relevant agile artefacts that accurately reflect progress, risks, and impediments.
  • Drive continuous improvement by ensuring retrospective actions are actionable, measurable, and followed through.
  • Promote agile principles and foster effective collaboration within the team.

Flow, Risks & Dependencies

  • Proactively identify, manage, and escalate impediments impacting team delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage dependencies, risks, and alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • Protect team focus by minimising disruptions, scope changes, and conflicting priorities during sprints.
  • Support sustainable and predictable delivery through effective planning and flow management.

Product Owner & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement, prioritisation, and planning activities.
  • Ensure backlog items are sufficiently prepared to enable accurate estimation and efficient delivery.
  • Facilitate clear communication and alignment between teams and stakeholders regarding priorities, expectations, and delivery status.

Team Development & Agile Coaching

  • Foster a culture of psychological safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Observe and address team dynamics that may impact performance or delivery capability.
  • Coach teams beyond formal ceremonies to strengthen agile maturity, ownership, and self-leadership.

Organisational Collaboration

  • Communicate delivery progress, risks, trends, and dependencies in a structured and fact-based manner.
  • Represent the team in relevant coordination forums and decision-making discussions.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration through facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in delivering Agile projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, practices, and frameworks.
  • Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe certification).
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Prior experience in a Sales & Marketing environment.

Other Details

This assignment runs from 18 May to 31 December, with a commitment of 100% availability. The role allows for 2 to 3 remote working days per week, providing flexibility in a dynamic working environment.
