DevOps - Working Student (Wroclaw)

Job Description

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. Location, Wroclaw, hybrid

Docomo Verification department is looking for motivated and result-oriented students for the position of DevOps - Working Student. We are responsible for testing and maintaining 5G gNB software, which is part of the System Verification level focused on NTT Docomo customer. We are proud to work for NTT Docomo, Japan's largest operator which is the world's first commercial multivendor O-RAN operator and a key 5G reference for Nokia.

In our department you will focus on automated processes and solutions for its CI/CD/DevOps needs. You will deliver services and provide Continuous Integration frameworks for multiple software components and tools. You will be responsible for maintaining the continuity of SW integration and designing/implementing the unit’s solutions.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Monitor and configure of CI/CD processes
• Develop internal tools for CI/CD
• Manage version control system GIT/Gerrit
• Improve and adapt build framework
• Investigate the problems and root cause analysis
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

Must-Have:

• Status of student in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Good English, both spoken and written
• Open to hybrid work from Wroclaw office
• Infrastructure automation skills: Ansible
• Virtualization and containerization knowledge: KVM, Docker
• Good knowledge of Linux and the ability to work in this system
• Good knowledge of Bash, PowerShell
• Knowledge of Version Control Systems GIT
• Ability to: communicate, cooperate, solve problems
  
  

Nice-to-Have:

• CI/CD processes (Jenkins)
• Scripting language: Python
• Virtualization and containerization knowledge: Kubernetes
• Infrastructure automation skills: Terraform
• Knowledge of Infrastructure and services monitoring (eg. Grafana, Logstah)
• Knowledge of software development processes and tools
