Electronics Lead

My client is a leading provider of measurement and sensor technology for industrial manufacturing supporting global clients across multiple industries!

They're looking for a (Team) Leader in Electronics Development who will initially lead a small group of electronics engineers and actively participate in developing microcontroller-controlled measurement systems. You will be developed as the successor to the current head of development, taking over responsibility for the entire field of electronics development.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Coordination of the Development Team:

• Team Leadership: You will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of electronics engineers,
• Communication and Collaboration: You ensure clear communication with other departments such as Product Management, Production, Quality Assurance, and Sales.

Project Management and Resource Planning:

• Planning and Monitoring: You are responsible for planning, controlling, and monitoring development projects while considering timelines, budgets, and quality specifications.
• Resource Utilization

Technical Responsibility and Innovation:

• Product Development: In your role, you lead the technical development of new electronic, microcontroller-controlled measurement systems and work on the further development of existing solutions.
• Promotion of Innovative Technologies: You implement innovative technologies, methods, and processes to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of our products.

Process Optimization and Standardization:

• Optimization of Processes: You optimize existing development processes and implement best practices.

Interface Function:

• Collaboration with Management: You work closely with management and other departments to align the development strategy clearly with the company’s goals.
• Interdisciplinary Projects: Your active participation in interdisciplinary meetings and projects contributes to the continuous improvement of development and production processes.

Requirements:

• Professional experience in product development.
• Experience in the development and layout of PCBs, as well as programming microcontrollers.
• Experience in leading teams and managing development projects (Or ready to make the step into this)
• Strong technical understanding and a pronounced affinity for innovative technologies.
• Fluent in German and English.
