Network Engineer – SD-WAN / Meraki / Fortinet

Role Overview

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure with a strong focus on SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, FortiGate firewalls, and cloud connectivity solutions.

The role requires hands-on expertise in enterprise routing, switching, network security, monitoring, and large-scale network modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

? Enterprise Network Operations & Support

• Provide day-to-day operational support, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise network environments
• Maintain network connectivity, cloud networking, and associated infrastructure solutions
• Create, maintain, and update enterprise network diagrams and technical documentation
• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available network solutions

? SD-WAN & Network Engineering

• Manage and optimize Cisco Meraki MX, MS, and MR networks using Meraki Dashboard
• Configure and support SD-WAN technologies including Cisco Viptela and FortiGate SD-WAN
• Implement policy-based routing, static/dynamic routing, and route redistribution
• Design IP addressing strategies, redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery solutions

? Routing, Switching & Security

• Strong expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, SDN, and SD-WAN
• Configure and support Cisco networking hardware including Catalyst, Nexus, and enterprise routers/switches
• Implement firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, and encryption solutions
• Collaborate with Information Security teams to ensure compliance and secure network architecture

? Monitoring & Automation

• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting platforms using SolarWinds, Wireshark, and related tools
• Design dashboards, KPI reporting, and operational visibility metrics
• Participate in platform modernization, upgrades, and process improvements

? Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead enterprise network initiatives and cross-functional implementation efforts
• Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to engineering teams
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and drive solution delivery
• Support medium and long-term enterprise network strategy planning
