About the Role

You’ll play a vital role in analyzing and refining data from AI-powered solutions tailored to smart city applications. These solutions integrate real-time data on transportation, energy consumption, public services, and environmental metrics to provide actionable insights for urban planners, policymakers, and city operators.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret large datasets related to urban systems, including transportation networks, energy grids, and environmental monitoring.
• Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to improve the accuracy and functionality of LLMs applied to smart city challenges.
• Develop predictive models and dashboards to support decision-making for urban development and sustainability goals.
• Conduct experiments and A/B testing to enhance user engagement and optimize system performance.
• Present insights to stakeholders, including city governments and private partners, to support strategic initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python, SQL, or R; familiarity with geospatial tools (e.g., GIS) and AI/ML frameworks is highly desirable.
• Industry Knowledge: A keen interest in smart cities, urban planning, or sustainability-focused industries.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to draw meaningful insights from complex datasets and present findings tailored to urban applications.
• Experience Level: 1–3 years in data analysis, ideally within urban systems or technology projects.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; German is a strong advantage.
