Senior Scrum Master

An enterprise company is seeking Scrum Master to support a high‑profile AWS enterprise migration program. This role sits at the intersection of agile delivery leadership, cloud transformation, and enterprise stakeholder management, within a complex multi‑vendor environment.

The Scrum Master will be involved in stabilising delivery, improving accountability, and driving outcomes across squads, vendors, and senior stakeholders. The role requires a strong understanding of cloud and cloud migration to support delivery. The focus is on leadership, execution excellence, and enabling teams to deliver within a scaled agile framework during a period of significant change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and enable agile delivery across squads involved in an enterprise AWS migration program
  • Stabilise and improve delivery execution in a fragmented, multi‑vendor environment
  • Coach and support Product Owners and squads to improve backlog quality, prioritisation, and value delivery
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, planning events, and cross‑team coordination forums at scale
  • Identify, manage, and remove delivery impediments, including cloud, vendor, and dependency challenges
  • Drive accountability across internal teams and external vendors to achieve agreed delivery outcomes
  • Monitor delivery performance and continuously improve team effectiveness and ways of working
  • Strengthen collaboration and alignment between technology, delivery, and senior business stakeholders

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading agile delivery within large, complex enterprise environments
  • Must have demonstrated experience supporting AWS migration or cloud transformation
  • Strong understanding of cloud concepts including application re‑platforming, cloud infrastructure and DevOps/CI/CD. AWS is highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to influence delivery outcomes across multiple vendors and stakeholder groups
  • Deep knowledge of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP, including scaled‑agile delivery practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders

Desirables

  • Experience working within enterprise cloud programs involving AWS partners and systems integrators
  • Exposure to DevOps tooling, automation, and modern engineering practices
  • Previous involvement in enterprise agile transformations or custom Agile Blueprint implementations
  • Background navigating highly regulated or governance‑heavy environments
  • Experience contributing to agile chapters, communities of practice, or coaching networks
