About The Project

The client, a leading global industrial OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), is looking to enhance its operational efficiency by developing a cutting-edge Network Optimisation Tool. The objective of this project is to build a robust, data-driven dashboard that streamlines supply chain and logistics decision-making.

As a Graduate Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the technical development of this tool. You will be responsible for integrating diverse data sources—including Databricks, SQL Server, and MongoDB—into Power BI to create actionable insights.

This project offers a unique opportunity to apply advanced data engineering and analytics skills to solve high-stakes industrial challenges in a consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Integration: Establish seamless connections to load data onto Power BI from SQL Server, Databricks, and MongoDB.
• Dashboard Development: Design and build comprehensive Power BI dashboards tailored to track network performance and optimization metrics.
• Advanced Analytics: Utilize DAX and Power Query to transform raw data into complex business logic and visualizations.
• Query Optimization: Write and optimize sophisticated SQL queries (including embedded queries) to ensure high-performance data processing.
• Consulting Rigor: Translate technical data findings into structured insights for project stakeholders.

Preferred ProfileEducation

• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of an MSc/Masters program in Information Systems Management, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, or Business Tech.
  
  

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• Power BI Mastery: Proven experience building dashboards and proficiency with DAX and Power Query.
• SQL Expertise: Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, specifically for data loading and embedded query scenarios.
• Data Architecture: Hands-on experience or knowledge of integrating Databricks, SQL Server, or MongoDB.

• A background or strong interest in Logistics or Supply Chain Network Optimisation.

• Strong analytical rigor and the ability to build clear business logic from raw data.
