IT Project Manager – Dublin
This is an opportunity to join a well-established organisation undergoing significant digital and operational transformation. The business delivers customer-focused services through a mix of digital platforms and operational systems, with a strong emphasis on innovation, continuous improvement, and modern technology adoption. You’ll benefit from an excellent salary package, great benefits, and a genuinely nice environment to work in.
About the role
We are seeking a Project Manager with a hybrid mindset, someone comfortable operating across both strategic programmes and hands-on delivery. This person should be confident leading initiatives end-to-end while also being adaptable enough to manage smaller, fast-moving improvements.
The ideal profile:
- Experience delivering digital or technology-driven projects
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and transformation environments
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change
- Exposure to AI-driven or data-led initiatives is a strong advantage
This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, pace, and visibility, rather than a purely process-heavy project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of projects from initial concept through to delivery and closure, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, and budget
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to define requirements and ensure successful outcomes
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring clear communication, progress tracking, and issue resolution
- Manage resources, risks, dependencies, and project reporting throughout the lifecycle
- Act as the central point of coordination between business units, delivery teams, and leadership stakeholders
- Produce and maintain project plans, reporting metrics, and performance tracking (cost, scope, timelines)
- Oversee vendor engagement, including selection processes and delivery oversight where required
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, particularly across digital platforms and customer journeys
- Contribute to projects involving AI, automation, and process optimisation, helping drive efficiency and innovation
Background
- 5+ years delivering projects in technology, digital, or transformation environments
- Formal project management certification or equivalent experience
- Experience working with Agile frameworks and iterative delivery models
- Familiarity with customer-facing platforms, digital journeys, or product delivery
- Exposure to AI, automation, or data-led initiatives
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving
- Comfortable using tools such as Microsoft Office and project tracking/reporting tools
- Background in fast-paced or evolving organisations where priorities shift regularly
