Information Security Officer

Freelance Information Security Officer (ISO) – (Hybrid – Utrecht) - 6 Months Rolling - ASAP Start

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Officer to join a strategic digital transformation program for a large Dutch public organization.

The program is developing a modern, component based platform (running on Kubernetes) that will power future digital public services. All services delivered through this platform must be fully BIO2 compliant.

What you will deliver:

• A complete Security Handbook translating BIO2 measures into the specific technical and organizational context of the platform
• Policy and advisory products for security governance (local and national level)
• Advice on logging, monitoring, audit trails, and non functional security requirements for suppliers and projects

What you bring:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an Information Security Officer
• At least 3 years working as an ISO at a large Dutch municipality
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable BIO/BIO2 implementation experience within Dutch local government
• Strong knowledge of the DigiD framework and ENSIA
• Excellent command of Dutch language (C1 level)
