About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and tactical Product Owner to join our team for a focused engagement from 26 June to 27 June, fully on-site in Zurich. The Product Owner will be responsible for translating product strategy into actionable sprint-level work items, managing the product backlog, and ensuring delivery of high-quality features across multiple products.

This role is pivotal in sprint execution (2-week cycles), issue resolution, change request management, and driving operational excellence. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between development teams, customers, and product leadership, ensuring continuous value delivery while maintaining system reliability and compliance with ITIL/ISO 20000 service management standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Backlog & Prioritization: Define and maintain a clear, prioritised product backlog aligned with product strategy. Write detailed features and acceptance criteria to enable quality delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Prioritise features for sprint cycles based on business value, technical dependencies, and customer impact in collaboration with the Product Manager. Manage technical debt prioritisation to balance feature delivery.
• Continuous Improvement & Service Management: Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ITIL/ISO 20000 standards. Implement process improvements from sprint retrospectives and incident reviews.
• Incident & Problem Management: Lead incident response and coordinate resolution efforts. Assess incident severity, prioritise based on business impact, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Operational Excellence: Monitor system performance and uptime to ensure product reliability and manage production environment stability.
• Release & Deployment Management: Plan and coordinate releases to ensure smooth deployment and quality assurance.
• Team Collaboration & Governance: Facilitate daily standups, remove blockers, track progress, and participate in sprint planning to align team capacity with priorities and constraints.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Leadership & Customer Focus: Proven ability in customer issue resolution, feedback management, customer advocacy, and usability assessment.
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, technical debt, API design, and system integration.
• Collaboration: Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, effective team communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical discussions.
• Agile & Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, sprint execution, and backlog management.
• Issue & Change Management: Familiarity with ITIL change management, issue tracking, impact assessment, and risk evaluation.
• Decision-Making: Ability to make quick, informed decisions, prioritise effectively, and evaluate technical trade-offs.
• Backlog Management: Skilled in backlog tracking, metrics analysis, health monitoring, documentation, and governance.
