Senior program manager

We are seeking an experienced people leader who is passionate about bringing teams together and excels in a fast-paced an challenging organization.

As a Senior Program Manager you will lead data strategic projects at Sky Italia.

You will collaborate with the various business functions as an agent for change and improvement providing a new perspective on integrating data and Analytics in decisions and daily operations.

You will build strong partnership with Business, Product, Data Engineering, Data Science, other CTO departments and other key cross functional stakeholders identifying new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate Data & Analytics projects ensuring that project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
• Apply governance best practices during the project planning, so that eventual compromises are clearly communicated and have a clear business/technology/company benefit.
• Drive the communication between Business Units and the Data organization by defining and coordinating the communication plans.
• Facilitate the connection and proper communication between BU and Data Engineering Teams.
• Identify new business cases where data and Analytics can play a crucial role and where the data platform or insights would give a valuable contribution to the company.

Skills/experience:

• Outstanding stakeholder and demand management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (Italian and English)
• Program Management, Product Management or Senior Project Management background.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, mastering new complex areas, able to find new solutions and approaches to solve unconventional problems.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and MS Project as well as project management tools.
• Good knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Big Data platforms is preferable.
