We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master responsible for driving team collaboration, transparency, and high-quality product delivery aligned with business milestones. Proven ability to enable Agile teams to deliver value efficiently while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. This is a 3 month contract to hire job. No sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities & Impact

  • Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint execution, and sprint-level reporting to ensure timely delivery of business value
  • Drive seamless collaboration across technical and non-technical teams to maximize performance and outcomes
  • Mentor and coach teams, including Product Owners, on Agile principles, practices, and mindset
  • Foster a growth mindset and culture of continuous improvement and accountability
  • Identify, remove, and escalate impediments to maintain team momentum and delivery flow
  • Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, prioritization, and informed decision-making
  • Enable effective communication within and across teams, promoting transparency and alignment
  • Empower self-organizing teams and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies to support predictable delivery
  • Ensure release management practices align with enterprise standards
  • Maintain Scrum Boards, dashboards, and information radiators to provide visibility into team health, sprint progress, and delivery metrics


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Agile experience
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)
  • Hands-on experience standing up new Agile teams, including teams new to Agile
  • Proficient with Agile tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps


Preferred Experience

  • Advanced certification (ACSM or PSM II)
  • Strong foundation in Agile project management and business requirements analysis
  • Experience writing user stories, personas, and acceptance criteria using Gherkin
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate IT concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, quality-driven team player with strong critical-thinking skills
