The role emphasizes connecting product leadership with development teams and promoting an agile mindset across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and organize cross-functional teams to facilitate the successful delivery of business value within an agile framework.
- Coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, iteration planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure ceremonies and meetings are purposeful, efficient, and well-organized, supporting healthy backlog management.
- Identify and address barriers to team achievement with a sense of urgency, employing techniques to foster innovation and collaboration.
- Build consensus-based decision-making processes within the team, ensuring all voices are heard.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to develop and maintain release and iteration roadmaps, supporting short- and long-term release planning.
- Maintain a healthy, safe, and productive team environment that promotes continuous learning and relentless improvement.
- Champion a continuous improvement mindset, using data-driven insights to evaluate and enhance team performance.
- Act as a change agent to promote agile adoption across the organization through structured approaches.
- Ensure visibility and effective communication using ceremonies and tools that facilitate rapid responses to impediments.
- Connect the team with stakeholders to ensure they have everything needed for effective planning and execution.
- Apply risk management discipline in decision-making and team activities to mitigate potential issues.
- 5+ years of Agile methodology experience in a large enterprise environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
- Experience with SAFe frameworks, including SAFe PO/PM.
- Working knowledge of Product Management, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Delivery.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present information confidently and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrable mastery in mentoring, facilitation, and coaching within agile teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Experience with Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Knowledge of department/business lines, Reserve Banks, or System operations, policies, procedures, and technologies.
- Creativity and attention to detail in compliance and process improvement.
- Proven ability to support team growth and development through coaching and mentoring.
