We are seeking an enthusiastic IT allrounder for our IT Student Support in our Vienna office to support a smooth day-to-day operation of workplace IT services.


IT Student Support – 20-25h/week (f/m/d)


Your Responsibilities:


  • First-level IT support & help desk.
  • First point of contact to log, track, and manage user issues in ticketing software.
  • Diagnosing & solving issues related to software, hardware and network connectivity on Windows workstations.
  • Assisting users remotely or in-person, helping them through problem-solving steps.
  • Escalating complex or unresolved issues to level 2 or 3 support.
  • Updating knowledge bases and creating guides for common technical issues.
  • Support in daily IT operations as well as in IT projects.
  • Assistance with the implementation of IT security and regulatory requirements.
  • Support IT governance initiatives by preparing documentation and tracking actions.
  • Support with cross-departmental IT issues within the department.


Your Qualifications:


  • Actively enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences (FH) in Business Informatics or a similar IT-related field
  • You feel confident working with MS Office/365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • You see yourself as an IT-allrounder and feel confident trouble shooting hardware/software/network issues on end-user Windows workstations
  • Analytical thinking skills, as well as a structured, reliable and service-oriented work style with a high level of process and documentation understanding.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and services (client and peripheral hardware, servers, network, cloud, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Experience in Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow is an advantage
  • Fluent English, German is an advantage.

  • Payment according to the bank collective agreement on a gross monthly basis of at least EUR 1.936,35 based on 25 hours per week.
