BI Data Engineer (all genders) - Data & Analytics

Your Tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional data teams to deliver reliable, maintainable reporting solutions and curated data products
- Design build and maintain Power BI semantic models including KPIs, measures, hierarchies, and access concepts
- Build performant Power BI reports and dashboards and enable self-service analytics with reusable datasets
- Develop and operate Databricks pipelines (Python, SQL) for ingestion, transformation, and curated data publishing
- Use Azure Data Factory and Azure services for orchestration, integration, and optimized data refresh processes
- Ensure quality and standards through testing, versioning, monitoring, CI/CD, and documentation
- Help establish standards for data modeling, KPI definitions, report design, naming conventions, and documentation

- Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3,668.49 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.

Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Informatics, or comparable experience
- 3+ years experience in BI, data engineering, analytics engineering, or Power BI in enterprise environments
- Strong Power BI expertise including semantic models, DAX, Power Query, performance tuning, and security
- Hands-on experience with Databricks (Python, Spark, Lakehouse) and building production data pipelines
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL, dimensional modeling, and curated data layers for analytics
- Strong engineering mindset with focus on testing, versioning, CI/CD, observability, and reliable operations
- Excellent communication & teamwork, independent and solution-oriented working style, very good English; German is a plus
