Software Engineer

Remerge helps leading mobile app marketers increase revenue and retention by activating, re-engaging and retaining high-value users through programmatic in-app ads. Our international team of experts has contributed to the growth of hundreds of apps across all major verticals, including gaming, on-demand delivery, e-commerce, and finance.

We are looking for product-minded, AI-fluent mid-senior engineers who are eager to engage with the full building cycle: understanding user problems, contributing to solution design, building, testing, and iterating. They will be supported by the PM in growing their product skills, but the expectation is active participation in product thinking, not just executing tickets.

About The Team

The DSP platform team owns Remerge's internal tooling platform, the system that enables AdOps specialists to configure and optimize the company's bidding infrastructure. This includes the frontend application, backend API, campaign management, targeting, experiments, budgets, and reporting tools. We are a cross-functional team of 5 which includes design, engineering and product led by the Director of Product.

In this role you will...

• Build and maintain both the frontend (TypeScript/React) and backend (Ruby/Rails) of Remerge's internal DSP platform.
• Talk directly to users (AdOps, Account Management) to understand their problems and workflows.
• Contribute to solution design alongside the PM, and over time grow into taking more ownership of problem framing and discovery.
• Build basic prototypes, test them with users, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, or similar) as a core part of daily workflow to maximize individual throughput and code quality.
• Maintain existing systems, address operational issues, and contribute to infrastructure health.
  
  

You will be a great fit if...

• You are proficient in Ruby/Rails and TypeScript/React, or a have proven ability to master comparable stacks quickly.
• You actively use of AI coding assistants daily , paired with the technical judgment to verify and refine their output.
• You have a drive to understand user pain points and contribute to solution design; you aren't expected to lead discovery immediately but should be eager to learn.
• You have the ability to translate complex technical trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders and solicit useful feedback.
• You have a proactive mindset that goes 'beyond the ticket' to ask 'why' and propose better alternatives
