About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in PHP to join our team and contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our proprietary ERP (CMR) system. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of digital transformation within a growing company. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and expanding our internal ERP system to support the company's operational needs. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of business processes, including sales, procurement, accounting, and logistics. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to understand their technical requirements and implement effective solutions. This position provides a chance to work in a modern environment with a focus on innovative solutions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a relevant educational background, such as a degree or apprenticeship in computer science, software development, or a related field. Proven experience in PHP development, preferably with frameworks like Symfony, is essential. Strong knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or MariaDB, along with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is required. Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, cron jobs, and Linux server environments will be advantageous. An understanding of business operations within the trading or retail sector, especially relating to ERP or CMR systems, is considered a plus. The candidate should demonstrate a structured, solution-oriented, and autonomous working style, coupled with good communication skills in German, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Continuously develop and maintain our internal ERP system based on PHP 7.4+ to ensure stability and scalability.
• Create new modules, develop interfaces, and automate processes to streamline daily business operations.
• Integrate external systems such as online shops and supplier portals to facilitate seamless data exchange.
• Analyze existing processes, identify optimization opportunities, and document technical specifications for ongoing improvements.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with departments like sales, purchasing, accounting, and logistics to fulfill their system requirements.
