About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated (Senior) App-Entwickler Android (m/w/d) to join our dynamic development team. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a globally used Android application designed for configuring and managing IoT measurement devices and radio systems. The role involves working in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams including hardware developers, project managers, system architects, quality assurance, and external developers. You will be responsible for designing UI concepts, implementing business logic, conducting developer tests, and creating comprehensive technical documentation. Your expertise will help ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that support our company's digital transformation and IoT initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent professional experience in computer science or software development. You should have extensive experience in Android app development and software product lifecycle management. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Kotlin, along with frameworks like Compose and MVVM, is essential. Familiarity with version control systems like GIT and SVN, as well as CI/CD tools, is required. A strong affinity for agile methodologies, preferably with experience using Jira, is important. Knowledge of AI-driven programming is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for new technologies, digitalization, IoT solutions, and artificial intelligence. Excellent communication skills in German and English, along with the ability to work independently and as part of an international team, are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and contribute to a worldwide Android application used for parameterizing and managing IoT measurement devices and radio systems.
• Create and evaluate UI concepts and implement business logic to ensure user-friendly interfaces and robust functionality.
• Conduct independent developer tests to verify application performance and stability.
• Create and update technical documentation, including specifications, realization concepts, detailed descriptions, and implementation guides, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Participate actively in international and cross-site R&D projects, working closely with hardware developers, project managers, system architects, quality assurance teams, and external partners.
• Work within an agile and dynamic environment, managing interfaces effectively and contributing to all project phases with initiative and technical expertise.
