Project Manager (Step-Up Role from Site Engineer / Assistant PM)

€70,000 – €75,000 + Vehicle + Expenses | Nationwide Projects

Overview:

This is not a traditional Project Manager role.

This is a step-up opportunity for a Site Engineer, Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator who is already operating at the next level but hasn’t been given the title.

You will join a specialist contractor delivering technically demanding projects within a structured, well-run environment — with clear support from senior leadership and a defined pathway into full project ownership.

The Role:

Working closely with the Construction Manager, you will take responsibility for coordinating project delivery across site.

This is a hands-on role focused on execution — ensuring works are planned properly, subcontractors are aligned, and projects move forward without delays.

You will not be expected to “know everything” from day one — but you will be expected to take ownership, plan ahead, and step up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Coordinating day-to-day site activities and sequencing of works
• Managing subcontractors, materials, and site logistics
• Ensuring drawings, documentation, and work fronts are ready ahead of schedule
• Monitoring progress against programme and addressing delays early
• Maintaining high standards around quality, compliance, and safety
• Supporting overall project delivery under experienced leadership
