€55,000 - €65,000 Per Annum

We are looking for a Desk Engineer to join our client who are a water utility company responsible for water services within Ireland.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Assess feasibility of pre-connection enquiries and applications
• Review technical submissions and ensure completeness
• Evaluate network capacity and identify constraints
• Conduct technical studies (e.g., load, fault analysis)
• Define connection requirements and design inputs
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
• Identify required network upgrades or reinforcements
• Provide technical recommendations and reports
• Liaise with stakeholders and support cost/timeline planning

Who we’re looking for:

• Engineering/technical assessments of pre-connection enquiries and connection applications.
• Proven experience in capacity assessment of water & wastewater networks
• Ability to determine availability of capacity for new connections, utilising client guidelines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
