Senior .NET Full-Stack Developer for Multi-Vehicle Squad

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer to join our Multi-Vehicle Squad — a high-impact Nordic and Baltic team working on one of If Insurance’s core platforms.

The squad is part of the Belle transition, a strategic initiative replacing three legacy systems with one modern, scalable solution within Waypoint. This is not a maintenance role — you will contribute to an active transformation project that directly impacts how Commercial and Industrial vehicle fleets are handled across the Nordics.

You’ll work closely with experienced developers and business stakeholders to support the rollout, drive change, and ensure a smooth migration to a future-proof platform.

What are you going to do?

• Develop and maintain a modern, scalable solution within our largest core system
• Work hands-on with .NET, TypeScript, React and message-based systems
• Together with the squad drive clean architecture, performance optimization and technical improvements
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, business users, and other squads
• Contribute to technical discussions and decisions

What do we expect from you?

• Strong experience with .NET and modern full-stack development
• Good knowledge of TypeScript, React, Redux and REST APIs
• Experience with message-based or event-driven systems
• Interest in solving complex technical challenges
• Curiosity towards AI-assisted system development would be a plus
• Solid communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics in a clear and understandable way to users with different backgrounds and experience levels
• Day-to-day responsibilities require a good/excellent level of English and Latvian to communicate with clients and colleagues in Latvia and other countries
• Experience as a System Architect or Squad Architect or curiosity about architecture is an advantage
