Project Controller / Commercial Project Manager, Smart Infrastructure Buildings

We are looking for a Project Controller / Commercial Project Manager to join our Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation business unit.

In this role, you will work broadly as a commercial partner for project managers, ensuring financial transparency and supporting decision-making through various analyses.

You will be responsible for the financial monitoring and reporting of customer projects, as well as tracking and developing commercial processes in close collaboration with the finance team responsible for controlling, order management, procurement, and logistics. You will keep transparent communication flow with internal and external stakeholders.

The position is primarily based at our headquarters in Espoo, Finland, or Vilnius, Lithuania, with a flexible hybrid working model. Your Main Responsibilities

• Financial analysis and reporting of projects
• Monitoring volumes, costs, and margins, and updating forecasts in various systems
• KPI analysis and reporting
• Acting as a commercial partner to project managers
• Developing commercial processes together with different stakeholders
• Close collaboration with finance teams in Finland, the Baltics, and at the Nordic level
  
  

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Economics equivalent (e.g., BBA / MSc)
• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Commercial Project Manager or Project Controller.
• Strong Excel skills
• Power BI expertise
• Fluent English skills
• Knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage
• Experience in finance roles within a global company is a plus
• Industry experience is considered an advantage
  
  

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders. You are able to translate complex details into a clear overall picture and communicate financial information in an understandable way. You have a strong analytical mindset, a structured way of working, and the ability to see the bigger picture. The role also requires the ability to perform well under pressure in demanding situations.
