We are now looking for a Product Designer who can take ownership of the end-to-end product experience across web platforms (admin dashboards) and student mobile applications.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Luxembourg.

You will shape the end-to-end product experience across:

• Student mobile and tablet application (Unity-based)

• Teacher dashboard

• School and organization admin panel

We are looking for someone who understands product thinking, system-level design, user flows, and inclusive design principles.

You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer success, pedagogical experts, and engineering teams to translate product vision into scalable, structured, and testable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end UX across new and existing features

• Translate product requirements into structured user journeys and interaction flows

• Design low- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes

• Build and maintain a scalable design system

• Improve usability of complex, multi-role dashboards

• Ensure accessibility, particularly for children with cognitive differences

• Apply inclusive design principles consistently

• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure technically aligned implementation

• Document UX decisions clearly for engineering handoff

• Contribute to onboarding flow optimization and retention improvements

• Use product analytics and user feedback to inform design iterations

• Participate in product discovery and feature prioritization

• Work effectively within an agile, cross-functional environment

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 3+ years of experience in Product Design (SaaS or EdTech preferred)

• Strong proficiency in Figma

• Experience designing complex dashboards and multi-role systems

• Systems thinking mindset — ability to design beyond individual screens

• Strong UX research and structured problem-solving skills

• Clear communication and structured thinking

• Working proficiency in English (written and spoken)

• Technical literacy and familiarity with modern development environments

• Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams

Strong Plus

• Experience designing for children or educational products

• Experience with accessibility standards

• Understanding of learning psychology or cognitive science

• Experience working with Unity-based applications

• Familiarity with web and mobile constraints and implementation considerations

• Familiarity with publishing ecosystems (Google Play, Apple App Store, Windows Store, Web)

• Understanding of in-app purchase flows and payment gateways (Stripe, App Store billing, Google Play billing)

• Experience building and scaling a design system from scratch

• Experience in fast-moving or early-stage environments

What Success Looks Like

• Product decisions grounded in real user needs

• Clear and intuitive role-based dashboards

• A structured and scalable design system

• Reduced UX friction across onboarding and daily use

• Consistent design language across student and admin experiences

• Designs aligned with technical constraints and platform guidelines

• Reduced engineering rework through technically sound design decisions

Why Join Magrid?
