Role Overview

Hawkroot is seeking a Graduate Data Analyst to join our remote team on a temporary basis. This is a temporary, part-time opportunity for recent graduates based in the Netherlands who are looking to apply their analytical skills to real-world data projects and build practical experience in a professional environment.

Contract: Temporary (3 months)

Working hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Hourly rate: €18.00 gross per hour

Work arrangement: Fully remote

Location: Netherlands

What You Will Be Doing

- Organise, clean, and prepare datasets to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis

- Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relevant sources

- Perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel and summarise findings in a clear format

- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools

- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets and communicate findings to the team

- Assist in preparing data outputs for client-facing reports and internal documentation

- Maintain clear records of analytical processes and contribute to data quality improvements

What We Are Looking For

- A recent graduate with a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

- No prior professional experience required — strong coursework, personal projects, or certifications are welcomed

- Working knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation platforms is beneficial

- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and structured thinking

- Confident written and verbal communication skills in English

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment

- Based in the Netherlands or holding valid authorisation to work in the Netherlands
