Role Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Level Product Designer to join the Product Design team at Constellation Tech Hub on a full-time, fixed-term contract.

This role sits within a complex digital product environment, supporting BCA products used across multiple markets, platforms and user journeys. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Business stakeholders to shape practical, user-centred solutions that support delivery, improve consistency and help teams make better product decisions.

We are looking for someone who can move confidently between UX and UI, build context quickly and contribute to active product work without needing everything to be defined upfront. You should be comfortable working with existing design systems, navigating ambiguity and balancing user needs, technical constraints and business priorities.

This is a hands-on, full-time product design role for someone who enjoys solving real product problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams and helping maintain high design standards in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Product Managers, Engineers and stakeholders to understand product needs, user problems and delivery priorities

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-quality UI designs

• Support active product initiatives from discovery through to delivery

• Use the existing design system and shared patterns consistently

• Prepare clear designs, documentation and handoff notes for engineering

• Review implemented work and provide feedback where needed

• Communicate design rationale clearly to product and technical stakeholders

• Take part in design reviews, critiques and team rituals

• Help maintain consistency across products during the contract period

• Support clear alignment between user needs, business priorities and technical feasibility

• Contribute to product decisions with practical UX and UI recommendations

What We Expect

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design or similar roles

• Experience working in cross-functional product teams

• Strong Figma skills

• Good UX thinking and solid UI craft

• Ability to work with existing design systems and reusable components

• Comfortable working with ambiguity and asking the right questions

• Able to manage defined product work with moderate support

• Clear communication with Product, Engineering and Design stakeholders

• Practical mindset focused on delivery, quality and consistency

• Comfortable working in English with international teams

• Ability to quickly understand product context and contribute to ongoing work

• Good attention to detail in design quality, interaction and handoff

Nice to Have

• Experience in B2B, SaaS, marketplace, automotive, logistics or operational platforms

• Experience with complex workflows, multiple user roles or internal tools

• Experience running or supporting usability testing

• Basic understanding of product analytics tools

• Previous experience joining teams on fixed-term or cover contracts

Success Measures

• Quality and clarity of design output

• Speed of onboarding into active product work

• Consistent use of the design system

• Reliable collaboration with Product and Engineering

• Clear handoff and low implementation friction

• Ability to maintain continuity during the maternity cover period

Please note that only applications submitted in English will be considered.
