The Opportunity

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant / Manager to support and lead cybersecurity engagements within complex client environments. The role requires strong project management capabilities, sound cybersecurity domain knowledge, and the ability to manage senior client stakeholders across multinational engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cybersecurity projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, time, quality, and budget constraints.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and control project activities, including resource planning, scheduling, risk management, and dependency tracking.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen by managing engagement budgets, forecasting revenue, tracking costs, and supporting commercial governance.
  • Drive governance routines including status reporting, steering committees, escalation management, and decision tracking.
  • Apply strong understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) functions such as incident detection, response, threat monitoring, SIEM, and operational cybersecurity processes.
  • Provide subject matter input across broader cybersecurity domains, including incident response, vulnerability management, monitoring, and managed security services.
  • Coordinate cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, ensuring collaboration across EY GDS, local practices, and client teams.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early, proactively proposing mitigation strategies and supporting resolution.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying efficiency opportunities, lessons learned, and process enhancements within delivery and operations.
  • Contribute to proposal development, estimations, and planning activities for new or extended engagements when required.

Skills And Experience

  • Project management experience within technology or cybersecurity programs.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts, particularly Security Operations Center (SOC) operating models and services.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
  • Financial and commercial understanding related to project delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.

Language Requirements

Fluency in Swedish will be an added advantage

Travel Requirements

Travel may be required based on client and project needs, primarily to client locations in Sweden.

Location Requirements

If candidate is based in Sweden would be an added advantage and should be holding valid work permit in Sweden

For other Visa and permit requirements, EY will support in process.
