About The Role

You'll be a key player in our cross-functional, open-minded, and agile product team. Imagine being the brain behind the scalable backend services that power the user journeys central to the Lendo platform.

As a Backend Engineer, you will:

• Design, build, and optimize our Go microservices to be super scalable.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the backend architecture.
• Write clear, testable, and maintainable code that ensures quality and reliability
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other engineers to deliver customer value
• Identify and track key metrics to constantly improve system performance.
• Continuously experiment, learn, and share knowledge with your team.
• Bring your ideas to life together with the team
  
  

About You

We believe you have:

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience, including building and maintaining production systems.
• Strong skills in at least one backend language; ideally Go, but we know great engineers can learn quickly!
• A deep care for code quality, rigorous testing, and system scalability.
• Solid hands-on experience working with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and GitHub Actions (or similar CI/CD systems).
• A natural team player mindset where code reviews and clean code are central to your quality process.
  
  

Tech Talk: Our scalable backend uses Go microservices and AMQP for asynchronous messaging. We are cloud-native, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes on GCP, with continuous support from our CI/CD pipelines.
