Project Manager

Assignment Description:

We are looking to bring in a consultant Project Manager with a few years of experience from the management consulting industry, as well as knowledge and understanding of IT and SAP.

We are seeking a Project Manager who understands both finance and IT and who will initially be responsible for driving the following projects:

• Set up an existing (smaller) company in SAP (currently operating outside SAP in another ERP system)
• Eliminate one day from the financial closing process by implementing a robust technical solution between SAP and our consolidation tool (Cognos)
• Create automatic pre-accounting for supplier invoices
• Establish governance (and overall visibility) regarding the archiving of accounting information
• Create clear role and authorization structures within SAP

The Project Manager will receive expert support in the projects from stream leads and specialists within both IT and finance. Therefore, the main focus of the role is to coordinate and manage the projects and ensure successful delivery.

The role will belong to the Finance Development unit (one of eight units within Group Finance) and will work across other units within Group Finance. You will report to the Head of Finance Development while also working with respective steering groups as stakeholders and requirement owners.

Requirements:

Must Have:

• At least 3 years of experience managing projects involving both finance and IT
• Academic degree or equivalent
• Fluency in English and one Nordic language
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
• Structured and self-driven personality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Nice to Have:

• Ability to speak, understand, or communicate in more than one Nordic language
• Some knowledge or experience in change management
