We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our Supply Chain technology team, focused on building and scaling warehouse management and logistics solutions. In this role, you will design and develop robust, high-performance backend systems that support critical warehouse operations such as inventory management, order fulfillment, shipment tracking, and real-time event processing.

You will work on cloud-native, distributed systems and contribute to modernizing warehouse platforms using microservices architecture. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and operations to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions that drive supply chain excellence.


Responsibilities


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices supporting warehouse and supply chain operations.
  • Develop event-driven architectures for real-time processing of warehouse events (inventory updates, shipment status, etc.).
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate backend services with React.js-based applications.
  • Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to deploy, monitor, and scale applications.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability for high-throughput distributed systems.
  • Apply software design principles and design patterns to create maintainable and extensible solutions.
  • Optimize database performance and manage data models for large-scale operational systems.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing strategies.
  • Partner with global teams to align on architecture, design, and delivery timelines



Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience building scalable distributed backend systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and/or Python.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience building APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of high-throughput, real-time systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global teams.
