Senior Java Software Engineer

Overview

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join an Australian Investment Bank working as part of their in-house development team. You will play a key role in driving the design, development, and support of mission-critical financial technology applications, working with modern tech and leveraging your domain knowledge to deliver high-level solutions to business-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and maintenance of high-impact software applications across Fixed Income and Equities technology
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders.
• Maintain best engineering practices including DevOps and operational activities to ensure the smooth functioning of applications
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a culture of continuous learning
