About the Role:

• 📢 Collaborate with a SOC provider to manage cybersecurity incidents and refine SOC processes and incident response playbooks.
• 📊 Oversee the SOC provider’s performance, ensuring alignment with SLAs, and step in to support critical incident management.
• 🛡️ Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity tactics and techniques, implement strategies to improve detection and response, and assess vulnerabilities to guide remediation efforts.
• 💻 Drive improvements to the organization’s security tools and technology stack, enhancing overall defense capabilities.

What You’ll Need:

• 🎓 A background in computer science, IT, or communications, with a solid understanding of networks, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and basic programming or scripting.
• 🛠️ Hands-on expertise with security technologies like EDR, SIEM, MISP, IPS/IDS, and frameworks like Mitre ATT&CK or OWASP.
• 🚀 Proven experience in security operations, particularly in incident response and managing vulnerabilities.
• 💡 A curious mindset, excellent communication skills, fluency in German (English is a plus), and readiness to take on on-call responsibilities.
