Senior Business Insights Manager

We’re partnering with a growing and highly data-driven organisation currently expanding its Business Insights function and seeking a Senior Business Insights Manager to help shape data strategy, drive commercial insight, and lead the evolution of analytics capabilities across the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced insights professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, influencing senior stakeholders, and building high-performing analytics teams in a fast-paced environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Head of Business Insights, you’ll play a key role in leading a team responsible for transforming complex data into actionable commercial insights that influence strategic decision-making at all levels of the organisation.
You’ll work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, including C-suite leadership, while helping to modernise the insights function through automation, scalable analytics practices, and the adoption of AI-enabled tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a Business Insights team, setting clear priorities, standards and development goals
- Manage end-to-end insights projects from stakeholder briefing through to delivery and recommendations
- Partner with senior business leaders to identify commercial opportunities and strategic priorities
- Deliver deep analysis across customer behaviour, business performance and operational trends
- Drive process improvements, automation and scalable analytics solutions across the function
- Champion the adoption of new technologies, AI-enabled analytics tools and modern insight practices
- Promote a data-driven culture where insights are accessible, trusted and embedded into decision-making
- Oversee complex analytical initiatives and support the development of predictive and propensity modelling capabilities
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in Business Insights, Customer Insights, Analytics or related data-driven functions
- Previous leadership or team management experience preferred (first-time managers also considered)
- Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior leadership teams
- A curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, innovation and data storytelling
- Interest in leveraging AI, automation and emerging technologies to enhance insight generation and operational efficiency
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, evolving environments with changing priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience in customer-focused environments
- Exposure to predictive analytics, propensity modelling or data science techniques
- Experience driving automation or AI integration within analytics or insights teams
