Junior Scrum Master

Tech Pipeline

About the role
The Junior Scrum Master at Tech Pipeline fills a practical need for companies that have reached a stage of growth where their internal systems are starting to fail. When a business moves into what we call the awkward middle, the simple communication threads that worked for five people no longer function for fifty. This role exists to step into that friction and stabilize the flow of work. You will act as a system operator for team processes, helping to identify where tasks are getting stuck and finding concrete ways to clear those paths.
This is an entry level position designed for someone who enjoys organizing information and making things run more efficiently. You will not be managing people or writing strategy decks. Instead, you will be in the tools every day, ensuring that data is accurate and that the team has a clear, unblocked path to their goals. You will help move our clients from a state of operational chaos to a steady, predictable rhythm of delivery.

What you will do
In this role, your daily work involves a mix of tool configuration and process documentation. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining project boards in tools like Jira or Asana, ensuring that every task has the necessary data to move forward. This often means auditing the status of work and reaching out to team members to resolve discrepancies before they become larger problems. You will map out internal workflows and turn them into Standard Operating Procedures that are easy for anyone to follow. A significant part of your week will be spent identifying manual workarounds (like fragile spreadsheets or repetitive email chains) and helping the team move those processes into more reliable, automated systems. You will also lead team rituals, but your focus will be on the mechanics of the work. You will help the team identify blockers and find ways to reroute effort to maintain a steady state of delivery. By keeping the administrative and procedural plumbing clean, you allow the specialists on the team to focus on their actual work without being slowed down by operational drag.

What we are looking for
  • A logical and organized approach to solving problems and organizing information.
  • The ability to write clear, concise instructions that someone else can follow without help.
  • Strong attention to detail when working with software settings, data routing, or task statuses.
  • Comfort with exploring new software platforms and understanding how different tools connect.
  • A preference for seeing a project finished correctly over just starting something new.
  • The ability to stay focused and productive in a fully remote environment.
  • Clear communication skills, specifically the ability to explain procedural steps to others.
  • A mindset that looks for ways to simplify work rather than adding more complexity.

How we work
We operate with a focus on clear ownership and a deep trust in data. We are a fully remote team of specialists dedicated to helping companies move past operational drag and return to a steady state. Tech Pipeline focuses on fixing the internal plumbing of growing companies that have reached a point where their systems, processes, and reporting were set up for a smaller version of the business. This is usually where reporting no longer matches between departments and data lives in disconnected silos like the ERP or CRM. We come in to find exactly where the work is breaking and rebuild it so it does not break again. Our team members are practical operators who get into the tools to rewrite protocols and remove the manual friction that slows everything down. We value work that is grounded in reality and delivered without unnecessary fluff or consultant speak.

What we offer
  • Full autonomy over your daily schedule within a remote work structure.
  • The chance to work on high-impact projects that fix real operational problems for growing businesses.
  • Direct experience with industry-standard project management and operations tools.
  • A workplace culture that values clear documentation and efficient processes.
  • Access to a team of experts who prioritize mentoring and practical skill building.
  • A steady, professional environment focused on long term stability rather than temporary hype.
