Senior Network Engineer

THE ROLE:

We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior Fortinet Network Specialist to design, implement, and support secure, high-performing network environments. This role is hands-on and client-facing, with a strong focus on Fortinet technologies and enterprise network reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure using Fortinet solutions
• Configuring and supporting FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, routers, and switches
• Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting complex connectivity and security issues
• Conducting network assessments and recommending performance and security improvements
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver network solutions aligned with business needs
• Providing technical support, guidance, and escalation support in client-facing scenarios
• Documenting network configurations, standards, and procedures

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Specialist, with strong Fortinet expertise (must-have)
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls, VPN configuration, and security policies
• In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise network environments
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support clients and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Relevant certifications preferred (Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent)
• Cisco experience considered an asset
• Prior client-facing or technical support experience is considered a definite plus
