UI Designer - App

We are looking for a talented UI Designer with a passion for details to join our team and play a key role in crafting the Hemnet app - the platform where millions of Swedes discover their next home. Your work will ensure we deliver an engaging, intuitive, and high-quality experience for all users.

As a UI Designer in the App core team, you’ll focus on design system, concept development, and prototyping while collaborating closely with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers.

While Hemnet has years of experience building mobile apps, the App core is a new team established to drive App as a product more holistically. Together with other Product teams, we’ll shape a product that balances exceptional design with functionality.

What You’ll Do

• Design & Innovate: Create user-centric app designs that align with platform patterns, best practices, and brand guidelines
• Prototype & Develop Concepts: Transform ideas into prototypes that drive product development and user testing
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with UX researchers, product managers, engineers, and other designers to align design goals with product vision
• Enhance the Experience: Use motion design and micro-interactions to create seamless, delightful user experiences
• Evolve Design Systems: Contribute to and refine Hemnet’s design system to ensure consistency across the app
  
  

What You Bring Minimum Requirements

• Strong UI design skills, with experience designing consumer-facing apps
• Proficiency in Figma and a deep understanding of platform design patterns and best practices
• Experience designing in a product environment, with a strong understanding of end-to-end product development
• Expertise in motion design (micro-interactions) and information architecture
• Proven ability to craft exceptional UI with strong visual design skills and extensive experience in design systems
• A collaborative mindset and proven ability to work in cross-functional product teams

Our vibrant office in central Stockholm is the hub of our collaboration and culture, providing a lively space that fosters team spirit. We come together in the office three days a week, with two flexible remote days. To be part of our team, it’s essential to be based in or near Stockholm.
