Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting

We are thrilled to present an exciting contract opportunity for a talented and experienced Business Analyst who is passionate about Statutory and Regulatory Reporting. Our client, a renowned financial institution based in Amsterdam, requires your expertise to drive their finance function forward.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Finance or related field
- Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements within the finance sector
- Experience managing complex projects end-to-end whilst driving successful outcomes by working collaboratively across teams under tight deadlines is essential
- Experience with analysing large data sets from multiple sources with high accuracy while interpreting trends that inform strategic decision making
- Knowledge of SQL Developer is an absolute plus
- Experience in Banking Products is beneficial
- Working experience with Agile and Lean is a plus.

Responsibilities include but not limited too;

* Developing business requirement documents (BRD) outlining functional specifications required during software development lifecycle stages.
* Define scope by gathering information on existing processes/procedures; identifying opportunities for improving operational efficiency through process automation where appropriate .
* Participate actively throughout project life cycle phases such planning/designing/testing/deployment post go live support
* Designing and developing new IT solutions that are future proof and easy to maintain, in close cooperation with the other team members
* Analyse finance business issues with the purpose of bringing complete solutions for the requested change
* Provide the stakeholders with design alternatives and their impact to enable proper decision making
* Support the verification and validation of solutions by testing change deliverables and guiding users / clients in the acceptance of them.
