Akkodis is currently seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to maintain the performance of a Test and Assessment Platform used in the Dutch school system. In this role, the selected candidate will ensure that Akkodis provides a stable, secure, and high-performing platform, especially during the critical peak season starting in January.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will collaborate with Akkodis client who manage the AWS infrastructure and develop the platform's applications. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving incidents, managing them effectively, and keeping Akkodis stakeholders informed.
Must-have Requirements
- Basic knowledge of: AWS (e.g., EC2, LB, WAF, CloudWatch)
- Monitoring tools (like Datadog)
- SQL
- Kubernetes
- Bitbucket
- Familiarity with web applications (especially PHP Linux and EKS-based systems).
- Fluency in English.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for technical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Understanding of release processes and procedures.
Nice-to-have Requirements
- ITIL knowledge.
- Experience in supplier management.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
- Knowledge of security and privacy best practices.
- Experience with test and assessment tools.
Location: The Netherlands, 2 days per week in the Den Bosch office.
Allocation: Full-time.
Start Date: As soon as a suitable candidate is found, latest by 06.01.2025.
