This role is for an experienced engineering professional who has transitioned into management — someone who has written production code, led technical teams, and can hold their own in senior conversations with the engineering leads of banks, insurers, and enterprise partners.

You will be the bridge between payever's business side and its engineering teams. You understand what the business needs, translate it into precise technical requirements, and make sure delivery happens.

No pure support role. No pure management role. Technical depth meets operational ownership.

🎯 What you will do

· Represent payever in high-level technical calls with external partners — banks, insurers, enterprise integrations — as a credible engineering voice

· Translate business requirements into precise technical specifications for the engineering teams · Own the coordination layer between product/business and engineering: intake, prioritisation, alignment, and delivery tracking · Identify recurring problems and systemic gaps — and drive the fixes

· Document processes, system logic, and solutions for long-term operational clarity

· Collaborate closely with product, tech, operations, and external partners on an ongoing basis

🧬 Who you are

· Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field

· Several years of hands-on software development — you have written production code and understand systems from the inside

· Proven experience managing or leading engineering teams

· Excellent English (C1+) — comfortable in senior technical conversations with external engineering leads and architects

· Strong ability to translate between business intent and technical implementation, fluently in both directions

· Structured, reliable, ownership-driven

· Familiarity with APIs, integration patterns, or fintech/payment systems is a strong plus
