Product Owner — OliNext

OliNext builds the integration layer for CBRN operations with unmanned systems. We integrate proven unmanned platforms (aerial, ground, maritime) and CBRN sensors into one unified, mission-tailored operational system, eliminating fragmentation, integration complexity, and unnecessary development costs.

We are looking for a hands-on and structured Product Owner to take ownership of the product together with the founder and engineering team, and become a key long-term part of the business.

This role is not just about backlog management — it is an opportunity to own how real customer and operational challenges become a clear, prioritised product, and to drive OliNext from architecture validation to demonstrated, field-ready systems.

What you'll work on

- The product roadmap for CBRN monitoring integration across UAV, UGV, USV and autonomous platforms

- Translation of operational mission requirements into clear specifications and user stories

- Prioritisation across validation milestones, partner commitments and field demonstrations

- The bridge between engineering, sensor and platform partners, and end customers

- Product readiness for demonstrations, pilots and early deployments

- Definition and tracking of product success metrics tied to mission fit and integration performance

Responsibilities

- Own and maintain the product roadmap and backlog

- Translate customer and operational pain points into practical, buildable solutions

- Prioritise ruthlessly and communicate the reasoning clearly across the team

- Work closely with the founder on product vision and direction

- Coordinate inputs from cooperation agreements and partner integrations into a coherent plan

- Define acceptance criteria and keep delivery aligned with mission needs

- Support customer meetings, demonstrations and technical proposals with product clarity

- Help shape the product process as the company scales

Background

- Strong experience in product ownership, product management or technical project leadership

- Experience with hardware-integrated, systems or deep-tech products is highly valued

- Ability to translate complex technical and operational requirements into actionable plans

- Technical fluency — able to engage credibly with engineers on robotics, sensing and software

- Experience bringing complex products from prototype towards operational deployment

- Comfortable working in fast-moving startup and dual-use environments

- International mindset and strong execution capability

Highly valued

- Defence, military or NATO-related project exposure

- Background or strong interest in CBRN, radiation detection, unmanned systems or sensor integration

- Experience with field testing, demonstrations or certification of physical systems

- Experience coordinating across multiple external hardware and sensor partners

- Existing network within the European defence, IAEA or dual-use ecosystem
