User Experience Designer

At Skill-Up we help thousands of professionals and companies close the tech skills gap. We work with partners like IBM, Microsoft and Google Cloud across three markets: India, USA and Europe. We are hiring a senior designer to own the experience across our product ecosystem: website, marketing materials, LMS, and the next-generation app.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design across critical areas of the product, from website to LMS to the upcoming app
• Work side by side with Product, Research and Engineering in short cycles
• Contribute to and expand our Figma Design System
• Design for distinct learner personas across three geographies
• Defend design decisions with research, data and clarity

Who you are

• 6+ years in digital UX/UI, strong visual craft and solid UX fundamentals
• Fluent in Figma (variables, auto-layout, design systems)
• Able to turn ambiguity into wireframes and shipped UI
• Direct communicator with stakeholders, no fluff
• Professional English, comfortable across time zones

Bonus

• Background in e-learning, SaaS or long-form content products
• Sensitivity for marketing content and brand storytelling
• Previous experience with multi-market teams

AI in our workflow

AI is part of the product we ship and the process we work with. We want someone who:

• Uses AI day to day in research, ideation and design ops without becoming dependent
• Applies AI to speed up processes and daily work
• Has real curiosity about designing AI-powered learning features (prompts, RAG, AI-assisted UX patterns)

How the process works

1. Portfolio screen
2. 45 min call with the hiring manager
3. Micro flow exercise, capped at 2 hours, with a clear brief
4. Final interview with PM and stakeholders
