Project Scope:

The role involves managing software projects and cloud-based applications for digitizing and automating the R&D laboratory environment, and enhancing lab work efficiency through integration, automation, and system optimization. The focus is on developing, deploying, and managing cloud applications and CI/CD pipelines to support lab management, experiment planning, tracking, and remote control of lab instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage software projects and cloud-based applications, ensuring successful delivery and collaboration with DevOps, development teams, and validation leads
• Interface with business and IT teams, participate in business analysis and contribute to technical PI planning
• Ensure non-functional requirements (NFR) are met, document technical designs, and contribute to architectural decision-making
• Develop APIs and integrate them with the data layer using technologies like AppSync, GraphQL, and AWS Lambda
• Lead CI/CD implementation, automate build, test, and deployment processes, and integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure security practices are embedded in CI/CD pipelines, including automated security testing and vulnerability scanning
• Oversee test management, including planning, execution, and reporting, while automating test cases and regression testing
• Implement monitoring solutions to detect issues in systems and environments, and optimize cloud-hosted applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Utilize GitLab for version control and ThingWorx for low-code application deployment
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize CI/CD processes and test automation frameworks

Requirements:

• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Azure, cloud-native solutions, and security integration
• Experience with AWS Athena DB, SnowFlake DB, MuleSoft integration platform, and IAM solutions
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, SAFE, and DevOps principles
• Strong skills in test management, automation, and monitoring tools
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
