Job Summary**

SS&C GIDS is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. This role involves contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle in a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibilities**

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API).
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  
  

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer with strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework Core).
• Familiarity with front-end build tools (e.g., npm, webpack) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and consumption.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
