A typical day might include the following:

• Developing automation scripts;
• Ensuring product quality throughout the development process;
• Integrate/commissioning from NATO facilities;
• Support project deployment;
• Capacity to move for several days/weeks (depending project phases) to NATO facilities ;
• Understand and clarify, if needed, any requirements related to testing new features and/or bug fix;
• Testing existing system processes and provide recommendations for improvements.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• Coding: Ansible, PowerShell, Python;
• CI/CD: SonarQube, Terraform, Hashicorp Vault, Ansible Tower, Jenkins, Artifactory, Artefact repository, Gitlab;
• Cisco: Cisco ACI/DNA, Switch;
• F5: F5 Big-Ip;
• PaloAlto: FW PaloAlto – Panorama;
• Zabbix, Splunk;
• IVQ Tools: Doors, Jira, Polarion, Confluence;
• Command line configuration of applications running under Windows;
• Have basic understanding of code review processes and ;how to debug code;
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (IAAS architecture)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work within a team environment and collaborate with other professionals;
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the process of software development;
• Critical thinking and analysis skills to determine security risks to data, hardware, and software;
• Mastery in analyzing business, technical, and functional needs and requirements;
• Strong attention to detail to identify, record, and prioritize issues as they arise;
• Solid report writing skills and command of written communication;
• Troubleshooting and creative thinking to present viable solutions as problems arise.
