About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled React Native Mobile Developer to join our innovative team at Belong. You’ll play a key role in building and scaling our fan-first finance app, creating delightful and intuitive mobile experiences that connect music fans with a unique fintech platform. We are looking for an "AI-native" developer who doesn't just use LLMs for basic autocomplete, but deeply integrates advanced agents like Claude Code or Codex into their daily engineering workflow to drive unprecedented velocity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, performant mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
• Collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to implement intuitive user flows and pixel-perfect UI.
• Leverage Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI engineering agents to 10x your output, automating routine boilerplate and complex refactors while maintaining rigorous coding standards.
• Optimize app performance and security, ensuring smooth and responsive experiences.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to deliver seamless fintech and music-driven features.
• Contribute to the technical architecture and ensure scalability of the mobile app.
• Stay at the forefront of AI-assisted development trends and the latest React Native updates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in mobile app development with React Native.
• Advanced proficiency in AI-assisted coding: Proven experience using agents like Claude Code or Codex to architect, debug, and ship features faster than traditional methods.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern React Native frameworks.
• Swedish work permit (no study permit).
• Experience building and deploying mobile apps to the App Store and Google Play.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of mobile UX/UI principles (experience with fintech or consumer apps is a plus).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest).
• Passion for music and culture, with a fan-first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, purpose-driven startup environment.
• High sense of ownership; you will be a key team member shaping the future of the product.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with fintech or payment-related apps.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and fine-tuning AI workflows for mobile-specific challenges.
• Knowledge of native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of mobile apps.
