Back End Developer

About The Role:

Crowded is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our technology teams responsible for powering our banking service, mobile applications, web applications, REST API, databases and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and scale new and existing features.
• Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Translate design concepts into physical objects
• Design and build in a microservices environment

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a software engineer
• Experience with the technologies and frameworks we use; Node.js with typescript (Must), SQL (Must), Microservices (Must), NestJs (Advantage)
• Solid understanding of system architectures, design patterns, product and development best practices including agile methodologies
• Expert with git and gitflow
• Excellent communication skills
• Advantage: Knowledge of retail banking, especially banking as a service and neobanks
• Full time availability
