Playnetic is a technology-led company building scalable B2B gaming platforms for a global market. Our platforms are cloud-native, highly available, and built with automation and reliability at their core. Engineering and infrastructure are central to how we operate, and we invest in doing things properly rather than working around legacy constraints.

We’re currently expanding and rebuilding our DevOps capability across multiple levels, including a Lead DevOps Engineer as well as DevOps Engineers, creating an opportunity to define tooling, practices, infrastructure standards, and ways of working from the ground up in close collaboration with engineering and technology leadership.

The Roles

We are hiring across multiple DevOps positions, including a Lead DevOps Engineer and DevOps Engineers, to help design, build, and scale the DevOps function for our platform.

These are hands-on technical roles focused on delivering scalable, reliable, and automated infrastructure across the business. Depending on seniority, responsibilities will range from technical leadership and strategic ownership through to implementation, automation, infrastructure operations, and platform support.

This is an opportunity to join a greenfield environment where DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and platform reliability are central to the company’s growth and technical direction.

What You’ll Do

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines across services and environments
• Support containerisation and Kubernetes operations and strategy
• Help define and maintain observability tooling, including logs, metrics, traces, and alerting
• Drive infrastructure and deployment automation across backend and frontend platforms
• Design, operate, and optimise cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, with exposure to Azure and GCP
• Support networking, VPNs, and secure connectivity across environments
• Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, performance, and security
• Support cost optimisation initiatives and infrastructure efficiency improvements
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and operational improvements
• Collaborate closely with engineering and technical leadership teams
• Contribute to technical standards, best practices, documentation, and operational processes
• Mentor and support other engineers where applicable

What You’ll Bring

• Strong hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerised workloads, and cloud-native systems
• Experience working with AWS and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience supporting production systems and highly available environments
• A pragmatic, problem-solving mindset with a strong focus on automation and reliability
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and technical stakeholders
• Leadership or mentoring experience is beneficial for senior and lead-level positions
• Motivation to help build and improve DevOps capabilities in a fast-growing environment

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience within iGaming, fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, or other online platform-based businesses is beneficial. Experience building DevOps environments from scratch, scaling teams, or working within regulated industries is also a plus.
